About Us
We are the Clearwater Boys and Girls Club, located at 4928 49th Street in beautiful Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. See map below for how to find us.
No, we're not a day care. . . We're so much more!
We connect kids to the activities they love. These include:
- Sports such as: soccer, kickball, basketball, kayaking, karate, tae kwon do, dance, handball, badminton, volleyball, and more!
- Arts, crafts, and drama events
- Leadership activities and group projects
- Free play, and structured group games
- Specialty activities such as: Zumba, dances, dog sledding, live concerts and professional sporting events, field trips to Goldeye, Wild Rapids, and the National Historic Site
Our programs focus on the four pillars of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada:
- Leadership, Growth, & Empowerment
- Physical Activity, Health & Safety
- Learning & Career Development
- Community Services
Our services here are threefold:
- The Before and After School Program, geared at children aged 5 through 12.
- Youth Zone, aimed at reaching out to our older youth aged 10 to 17 years.
- Summer Day Camps
