Before and After School Program
We connect kids to the activities they love!
Our primary service here at the Boys and Girls Club is our Before and After School Program. We're dedicated to providing your 5-12 year old children with a safe, fun, "good place to be."
The Before School Program
7:30-8:30am, Mon-Fri
Parents, do you need to be at work before your kids are at school? For your convenience, our Before School hours are 7:30-8:30am. Children arrive at the Boys & Girls Club and are walked to Rocky Elementary School. Children from Lochearn, Pioneer, St. Matthews, and the Christian School wait with the staff member for the shuttle bus to their respective schools. Our drop-in morning program focuses on the four pillars of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada:

- Ø Physical Activity, Health & Safety
- Ø Learning & Career Development
- Ø Community Services

The After School Program
*3:20-6:00pm, Mon-Fri*
For those of you who don't get off work at 3:00 and in time to pick up your children, we'll do it for you! We strive to create meaningful relationships between members themselves, and with our staff. We provide snacks daily. We encourage friendships and have a zero-tolerance for bullying. Our After School Program is where all the excitement is... with activities ranging from crafts and group games, to sports and learning sign language... and everything in between! Whether your children are really shy or really outgoing, there's something here for everyone! For what we're up to this month, take a look at our calendar. Full Day Programming
*7:45am-6:00pm, Mon-Fri, when needed*
On days where there's no school (*including Summer, PD Days, Winter Break, Spring Break, but excluding holidays*), we're here for you! Full Day Programs are a lot like the After School Program, but with a lot more freedom and flexibility in what we can offer! Our favourite activity during full day programming is swimming. We also enjoy bowling, skating, and occasionally even a field trip. All this is on top of regular activities-- movies, crafts, sports, games, etc. We'll provide a snack in the morning, and the afternoon, but please pack a lunch.

Program Fees
Although subsidies are available if required, our regular fees are as follows:
Yearly Membership Fee- $10.00/child (your children must be members to utilize our Before School, After School, and Full Day Drop In Programs)
Regular Monthly Fee (Sept-June)- $5.00/day
Full Day Fee (including PD Days, summer days, etc)- $25.00/child
Field Trip Day (ie. Calaway Park)- $35.00/child
